Momma's Salsa de Tomatillo Verde

INGREDIENTS:
25 tomatillos verdes
10 chiles verdes (serranos)
1 bunch of cilantro
1/2 onion
1 tablespoon of salt
1 garlic clove
PREPARATION:
Boil water in a saucepan. When hot and bubbling, place all tomatillos and chiles in the saucepan. After they are cooked, let cool off for about 10 minutes. Empty water and place tomatillos and chiles in blender; add the garlic clove and salt as well. Add a new 1 1/2 cups of water into the blender. Blend for about 1 minute (or until liquid forms). Empty into bowl; cut onion and cilantro into small bits (such as you would for pico de gallo) and add into bowl. Mix and enjoy! Serves about 15 people (unless you are a hot sauce fanatic!). Not the spiciest of salsas, but definitely gives that nice extra little kick to any dish.
